Captain Richard Boat Charters

HistoryI retired in 2006 after a 39 year career with Rockwell and needed an excuse to go sailing. So I decided to offer captained charters on my sail boat Minnie for up to six from age 4 and up. You can just relax enjoying the thrill of wind filled sails slicing you through the water, or learn hands on the fundamentals of sailing a cruiser. Your guide is a qualified USCG licensed captain at the helm with over 40 years of sailing experience. You can customize your private sailing adventure based on your experience, local interest, and level of hands on sailing you wish to particiate. Minnie has a large cockpit that can comfortably accommodate 6 adults plus the captain. Whether you choose a short sunset sail or a full day on the water, I assure it will be a memorable experience. Departs from Shalimar Yacht Basin convenient to both Destin and Fort Walton Beach.
