Garlic has been used medicinally for at least 3,000 years. Spice World owns and operates two processing plants, one in California and one in Florida. It has state-of-the-art processing plants that have the latest technology for capturing the robust flavor of garlic and include massive climate-controlled storage units to keep garlic fresher longer. The garlic cloves are planted in rows and take up to eight months to grow. Spice Worlds product line include fresh garlic, jar garlic, peeled garlic, specialty items and spices. The chemicals in garlic have been shown to lower LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
