DiMare Fresh was established as a pushcart business more than 75 years ago and today, it is a network of repacked fresh produce distribution facilities throughout California, Texas, Illinois, Florida and Pennsylvania. It supplies tomatoes, melons, citrus fruits and vegetables. DiMare Fresh has ripening and refrigeration facilities that allow products to be maintained at optimum conditions. It maintains a fleet of refrigeration vans and trucks that delivers fresh and temperature-controlled products. The company has chlorination wash systems that process fresh produces for bacteria and pathogen removal. It has been farming for tomatoes since 1947, as well as uses computerized sorting and grading equipment. DiMare Fresh maintains a location in Homestead, Fla.
