DSI Laboratories is a wholly owned subsidiary of NCH Healthcare System. Founded in 1984, it provides laboratory services to hospitals in the system, as well as physicians in their private practices. Located in Fort Myers, Fla., it is one of the leading regional esoteric testing reference laboratories. The laboratory serves clients throughout southwest Florida. DSI Laboratories provides testing support to various hospitals and physician clients. The laboratory conducts testing procedures using modern instruments and methodologies. It offers procedures in several technical specialties in pathology and laboratory medicine, including chemistry, coagulation, cytology, flow cytometry, hematology, histology, immunology, virology, molecular medicine testing, microbiology, and clinical and forensic toxicology.
