Grand Champion Executive Chef Jim Shirley opened Great Southern Cafe in 2006 in Seaside, FL. This casual restaurant fuses international cuisines with southern cooking using local produce from nearby farms and fresh seafood from the Gulf of Mexico. Loved our brunch here! Great service and overall ambiance of casual but upscale vibes. Food was delicious from the beignets to the Benedict's and fresh catch. Hush puppies on point!!!

Super busy but did get to sit outside with a big group. Pretty pricy lunch of course. I had the West Indies salad - very good! The crab cakes and fried green tomatoes were decent. Not mind blowing...
