You might not see the birds that inhabit Hammock Park, but you will probably hear them as you explore their habitat.
Many birds share the 90-acre, city-owned park with other wildlife.
Visitors can get a glimpse of the birds or study the ecosystems they inhabit as they roam five miles of nature trail, eat at one of three picnic shelters, climb an observation platform or enjoy the playground.
Park guides can be obtained at the Parks and Recreation Administrative Office at the Dunedin Community Center.
