Highlands County Court House

The Highlands County Clerk of Courts office is a part of the government of Highlands County in Florida. It performs a range of record keeping, information management and financial management tasks. The office formulates policies, procedures and programs for the public and private sectors. The Highlands County Clerk of Courts office operates through jury management, traffic, criminal service, financial reporting, compliance and internal audit, and recording and micrographics divisions. Its accounting division is responsible for the review and control of general ledger and related subsystems, as well as the recording of financial activities in accordance with legal requirements. In addition, the Highlands County Clerk of Courts office maintains an information technology department that provides computing and financial application services to the county government.
