The Birth Suites at Holmes Regional Medical Center

Holmes Regional Medical Center is a more than 200-bed acute care facility. A part of Health First, the center has been operational for more than 30 years. Located in Melbourne, Fla., Holmes Regional serves more than 20,000 people annually, and employs over 500 physicians and support staff. It has state-of-the-art emergency suites, intensive care units, palliative and rehabilitation pavilion, separate rooms for general and complex surgical procedures, birthing centers, short procedure rooms, day care, and delivery centers. Approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the center provides a wide variety of emergency, diagnostic and therapeutic medical services, such as organ transplantation, inpatient and outpatient care, pulmonary rehabilitation, cardiac care, and fitness centers. Holmes Regional also offers home health aides, magnetic resonance imaging, computerized and positron emission tomography scans, ultrasounds, laboratory services, mammography, occupational and behavioral health, oncology, same-day surgery, patient education, wound care, ostomy, and continence services.
