John Anthony Morytko, MD

Naomi Dempsey, M.D., is a board-certified breast medical oncologist at Miami Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health. She specializes in breast cancer medical oncology.Prior to joining Miami Cancer Institute in 2023, Dr. Dempsey served as a hematologist and breast medical oncologist at the Lynn Cancer Institute where she led the breast cancer research effort. Her work can be found in various publications, including Breast Cancer Research and Treatment and Hematology Oncology Clinics of North America. Before her time at the Lynn Cancer Institute, Dr. Dempsey was chief fellow of hematology and oncology at University of Miami Sylvester Cancer Center.She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society and American College of Physicians.Dr. Dempseys approach to care is compassionate and collaborative. She believes in evidence-based methods tailored to her breast cancer patients goals and priorities for their care. She gets to know the patients and their families to understand what is most important to them in their treatment journey. With this information, she creates a treatment plan that will optimize cancer outcomes while accounting for each patients unique needs and values.When she is not treating patients, Dr. Dempsey enjoys spending time with her daughter Keira. She also plays the flute with the Greater Miami Symphonic Band where she serves as the principal piccolo player.

Mark Dylewski, M.D., is a thoracic and robotic surgeon at Miami Cancer Institute, a part of Baptist Health South Florida. He is a graduate of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed residencies at the University of California Davis-East Bay and the University of Albany Medical Center. Dr. Dylewski is an expert in minimally invasive thoracic surgery. He is Board-certified in general surgery and thoracic surgery and is one of the country's pioneers in the area of robotic pulmonary and esophageal surgery. He developed the complete port access robotic-assisted technique using the da Vinci robot to perform pulmonary and esophageal surgery without spreading the ribs, an innovative procedure that is being adopted by other surgeons. Dr. Dylewski's research and clinical results have been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, including Seminars in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Journal of Robotic Surgery and the Annals of Thoracic Surgery. He speaks at national and international conferences on minimally invasive robotic techniques for the treatment of intrathoracic disease. He is a founding member of the Clinical Robotic Surgical Association and a member of the American College of Surgeons, General Thoracic Surgical Club and Society of Thoracic Surgery.

Romer Orada, D.O., is a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician at Miami Cancer Institute. Dr. Orada specializes in cancer rehabilitation and treats patients who have impairments related to cancer or associated treatments. These include musculoskeletal disorders, neuropathy, weakness, gait difficulty, balance problems, spasticity, contracture, difficulty swallowing and lymphedema. He is fluent in English and Filipino/Tagalog. He works with a multidisciplinary team and uses treatments like non-opioid medications, targeted therapy/exercise prescriptions, therapeutic injections, bracing/orthotics, assistive devices and education to provide a comprehensive treatment plan for his patients with cancer-related impairments or disabilities.Dr. Orada joined Miami Cancer Institute from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he served as an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. During his cancer rehabilitation fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, Dr. Orada served as a co-investigator for a case series of breast lymphedema. He is also a frequent speaker and lecturer on topics related to cancer rehabilitation. During his residency, Dr. Orada was named chief resident and resident of the year. He also served as the residency rotation director of the Cancer Rehabilitation PM&R rotation at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Orada takes a holistic approach to caring for his patients. He considers their diagnosis and how the disease process affects a person’s overall well-being physically, emotionally, mentally, socially and spiritually. His goal is to optimize function, prevent further impairment and improve the quality of life for people undergoing cancer treatment, no matter where they are in the cancer journey. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Orada enjoys tennis, watching college basketball, trying new restaurants, anything outdoors, and traveling with his wife and family.
