History

I started drawing when I was 2 years old. I never stopped. It defines me. I was that kid that always helped the teachers with projects at school. Girls used to ask me to draw pretty things for them and the boys asked me to draw super heroes. I started winning ribbons in county fairs and then in art shows. I eventually received scholarships to attend art school at the Ringling College of Art where I graduated with honors. From there I followed my career to the New York area to pursue a career in Comics. I made some headway with Marvel and DC Comics but stared making more money drawing cartoons and caricatures for private sponsors. I also continued in one of my first loves, teaching art. That led me back to Ringling College of Art where I re-settled into my old Florida lifestyle freelancing, teaching and just enjoying being alive. Follow your dreams my friends. I'm an illustrator specializing in caricature, cartoons, comic work, fine art and commercial Illustration. Contact me to fulfill any of your creative needs. I'm totally flexible and at your service. I've been in successive and successful business for over 30 years. I have worked for Marvel Comics, DC comics Topps Comics, Amoco Oil, Tropicana, Coco-Cola, Delta Airlines and the Ritz-Carlton. I make most of my money doing Caricature work live at parties and creating private commissions. In addition, I've been teaching art for the Ringling College of Art for over 24 years. Woo Hoo! I also teach private classes anywhere including out of town, out of state and especially out of this freaking country plus of coarse at my home and on Saturday's at the Art and Frame Shop of Sarasota.
