Plant Parents was founded in 1984 as an extension of the Greenwood Garden Center. In 1995, David and Stephanie Glosser became the current owners or Plant Mom and Dad of Plant Parents. In 2001, Plant Parents moved from Fruitville Rd. to its new greenhouse facility on 6742 Richardson Road. Plant Team The backbone of Plant Parents is our skilled horticultural team. We have a superb on-going training program that emphasizes superior service and horticultural excellence. We have an Operations Manager and a growing number of seasoned Horticultural Technicians. Plant Parents resides on a 5.6 acre agricultural property on scenic Richardson Road, less than a mile from I-75 at Fruitville Road. Our facility includes a cozy office building, a barn that houses our shop and material storage, a covered prep area, four ( 4 ) shade/ greenhouses, and a dedicated full sun growing area.

The company s products include live foliage, replica and artificial plants, preserved trees and plants, seasonal blooming flowers and plants, holiday d cor, themed and custom designs, decorative planters and containers, self-watering and subirrigation systems and exterior containerized plantings. Its services include budget preparation, design/build services, project consultation, expert installation, professional plant health management, uniformed service technicians, weekly plant care integrated pest management, a variety of purchase and lease programs and short-term rentals for special events. The company also franchises its business concept to entrepreneurs. Foliage Design Systems maintains its corporate headquarters in Orlando, Fla., and has company-owned and franchised operations throughout the United States.
