The Teen Parent program is one of the programs offered by the Charles Drew Family Resource Center, which is administered by Broward County Public Schools. The program includes teacher-directed instructions. It features a range of parenting and child development courses. The Teen Parent program includes membership options for a student council, as well as crime watch, journalism and chorus clubs. In addition, the program includes opportunities for students to participate in on-site child development services provided by the school district. It also features several types of mentoring and social programs, such as Girl Scout Mentoring, Take Stock in Children, Amanda s Place and Women of Tomorrow.
