Tampa Steak Company was founded in 1970 by Mr. Humberto Gonzalez, Sr. As an immigrant from Cuba, Mr. Gonzalez had a devotion to a prosperous life in America and an extremely strong work ethic. The original location was a small wholesale and retail meat market in downtown Tampa. By selling high-quality fresh products, Tampa Steak customers were always satisfied. The business grew and soon moved to the present location in west Tampa, near the Hillsborough river. By serving both the wholesale and the retail markets, Tampa Steak has a better selection of fresh products. Combining our knowledge and experience with different meats and cheeses, Tampa Steak customers always find exactly what they are looking for. Humberto Gonzalez, Sr. manages the retail operation. General management and wholesale are run by Humberto Gonzalez, Jr. Information technology is managed by Humberto Gonzalez, III. Thirty-five years and three generations later, Tampa Steak is one of Tampa's largest wholesale and retail meat distributors. Tampa Steak delivers fresh meats throughout the Tampa Bay area, exports fresh meats and produce to the Caribbean, and sells Spanish meats and foods online and via eBay.

The very best in Tampa for their prices and the best customer service. They treat me like family everytime. I recommend them daily and when asked where I get my meats I proudly tell them Tampa Steak!

O-M-G. Slowest service ever. 6 customers in 20 minutes. Prices are good and the ribeyes, bacon-wrapped filets, and sirloins are great... if you can wait it out. A refreshing break for my wallet...
