The Nest opened in 2011 with Jean Porpora, a local artist and her daughter, Susan Johnson, a local business woman with a theatre background. With the arts and theatre as their back-drop, the mother daughter duo opened a fun and unique gift shop called The Nest Home & Garden in Fort Myers Historical River Dsitrict.
