Kevin John, D.O., is a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician at Marcus Neuroscience Institute, part of Baptist Health. Dr. John also serves as a staff physical medicine and rehabilitation physician at the Cornell Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine at Bethesda Hospital East. He specializes in general rehabilitation medicine in the hospital setting, with expertise in traumatic brain injury, stroke rehabilitation, pain medicine, orthopedic injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, spasticity management, wellness medicine, preventative medicine and ultrasound-guided procedures. Dr. John earned his medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Memorial Healthcare System. He is a member of several professional societies. To deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, Dr. John strives to understand each patients goals and values, whether that means returning to work, improving physical independence or enhancing day-to-day comfort. He uses a holistic, team-based approach that emphasizes restoring function and enhancing quality of life. Dr. John believes that the best outcomes are achieved through open communication and close collaboration with patients, their families and the interdisciplinary care team. Dr. John is fluent in English, Hindi and Malayalam. His passions outside of medicine include astrophysics, traveling, cooking, table tennis, soccer, pickleball and Formula 1 racing.
