Founded in 1989, Lovejoy High School is located in Hampton, Ga., and offers an extensive curriculum for the students in grades nine through 12. It is affiliated with the Clayton County Public Schools and has an enrollment of more than 1,600 students. The school offers various subjects, including English, science, social studies, language arts, foreign language, mathematics, technical and career studies, and health and physical education. It has a fully automated and networked library. The school has a variety of extracurricular activities, such as choir, band, orchestra and newspaper editorial team. Lovejoy High School offers a wide range of sports activities that include baseball, basketball, football, volleyball, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, golf, wrestling, cross country, and track and field.
