Lee Kleinhelter Lee Kleinhelter founded Pieces in 2004 when she saw a gap between the high-end antiques and mass produced items offered in Atlanta. Her background and experience in interior design helped make Pieces a destination and has become a mainstay for unique furnishings & home accessories. Pieces, located in the Buckhead district of Atlanta is sophisticated and youthful with a bit of Southern Califnornia or Hamptons style. The space is created to inspire people to see furniture in a different way. It is available not only to interior designers and stylists, but the consumer as well and caters to those all over the country. Pieces is a source for furnishings that are clean lined with a twist, mostly vintage items brought back to life. Lee searches to find the interesting pieces to reinvent, often with new upholstery, rewiring or a fresh coat of paint to make each item unique. The reimagined finds are one-of-a-kind, such as Swedish deco chairs, an amber vase as a lamp and vine baskets made into pendants. It's not only the items individually that are interesting, it's the way they are pulled together, edited and displayed that sets Pieces apart. Lee's eye for stylish, unexpected pieces and composition has made the boutique a regular with national and local press outlets. Pieces has been featured in Elle Decor, Cottage Living, InStyle, Lucky, Domino and many more. Lee is married to Kevin Kleinhelter of K2 Construction. They have been building houses together using quality construction and high-end materials. Their homes have been featured in national magazines and have shown their talent with mixing Kevin's eye for building details and Lee's style and design experience. This combined talent is evident in the overall feel of their spaces.
