Buckhead Beef was established in 1983 and has become one of the largest distributors of certified Angus beef worldwide and grew to become one of the largest privately owned meat purveyors. It operates as one company in different locations, including Buckhead Beef in Atlanta; Buckhead Beef NE in South Plainfield, N.J.; and Buckhead Beef FL in Auburndale, Fla. These three locations leverage a network of nearly 20 sales and distribution centers along the Eastern seaboard and into the Caribbean. The meat products that the company provides include beef and certified Angus beef; lamb; veal; pork; poultry; game, such as buffalo, bison, cervena, birds and sausages; provision foods, such as deli meats, Nueske products, Patak European meats and sauages, Nodine s Smoked Specialties and Big City Reds; prepared foods, including crepes and blintzes, pastas and pates, kabobs, smoked fish and barber foods; and seafood.
