The Silver Comet Trail is a paved, non-motorized recreational trail stretching 61.5 miles through Cobb, Paulding, and Polk counties in Georgia, beginning at the Mavell Road Trailhead in Smyrna and ending near the Georgia-Alabama state line at Cedartown. This trail is designed for a variety of users—including walkers, hikers, cyclists, rollerbladers, and horseback riders—and is predominantly wheelchair accessible.

Connecting to the Chief Ladiga Trail at the state line, the combined length of both trails is approximately 94.5 miles, providing access to an expansive trail network that aims to link local communities to a larger national system. Future plans include extending the trail system throughout Cobb County and beyond, enhancing connectivity to various regions including Cherokee County and the Atlanta Beltline.
