Steak 'n Shake, a classic American brand, was founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois by Gus Belt who pioneered the concept of premium burgers and milkshakes.

It took at about 8 minutes for somebody to even answer the drive through speaker. And after all that waiting, their shake machine was down! Or at least that's what they claim. Then it took another...

This place is severely understaffed. I understand Steak 'n Shake usually = waiting. But this location is the worst. But that's not why I'm leaving this review... If you ever wanna talk yourself...

Just close this place already. My kids like it, but this place is a joke. No one to take orders, so you have to spend 5 minutes at a kiosk. Also, they took away the self-serve fountain drinks....

Ordered chili dog, chili was cold, ordered burgers the bun was cold and hard, had to send food back. Grilled cheese sandwich and the cheese was not melted. Terrible food and service.. this place...
