Alexander, Springfield Baptist Church offers many ministries for people of all ages and walks of life who are looking to strengthen their relationship with Christ. We offer ministries in Children's Ministry, Music Ministry, Young Adult Ministry, and Youth Ministry. A Community of Faith Springfield Baptist Church (SBC), Athens, Georgia, is a congregation whose members seek to understand and respond to the particular needs within its community. Springfield continues this rich legacy as it seeks to emit a beacon of hope for those who grope in the night of hopelessness. The congregation provides a haven where all can gather for worship of God and fellowship with other members. It is also a sanctuary for those who seek a closer relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ, His Son, enabled by The Holy Spirit. Springfield has continued for 129 years. As a community of Christian believers, we share a common bond of basic Biblical beliefs and a commitment to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the entire world.
