Clearfield is a city in Taylor and Ringgold counties in the U.S. state of Iowa. The population was 371 at the 2000 census.

Clearfield is known for driving the shuttle buses at the famous Iowa State Fair. Clearfield High School was closed in 1986. The nickname "Orioles" is still used for the towns' little league teams.
