Founded in 1953, East Junior High School provides learning opportunities to more than 600 students in grades seven through nine. The school offers student programs related to art, music, physical education, band, Spanish, French and orchestra. It also has a library that includes a range of books, reference sets and resource materials. East Junior High School supports Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. In addition, the school offers sports activities that include cross country, football, golf, volleyball, tennis, wrestling, and track and field. East Junior High School is located in Boise, Idaho. The school is a part of the Independent School District of Boise City, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
