The High Country Inn is only minutes from Idaho's Highway 12. The drive along Idaho's Clearwater River Valley from Orofino, Idaho through Ahsahka brings you into the world of a rustic, yet elegant, Pacific Northwest bed and breakfast - the perfect mountain retreat! The luxurious cabins are furnished with hand-made lodgepole beds, chests, tables and chairs, hand-quilted coverlets, and plush robes for ultimate comfort. The porches feature comfortable rockers and gliders, where you can sit enjoying a cup of coffee early in the morning, or a glass of wine in the evening, listening to the sounds of nature.. Our guests tell us that the beds are the most comfortable they have ever had, and the "quiet" is unbelievable!
