A part of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Greater Illinois Chapter offers research, advocacy and educational services for individuals with multiple sclerosis. It conducts outings to museums, sporting events, theaters and parks. The organization offers information on symptoms management and legal rights, as well as conducts workshops. The Greater Illinois Chapter organizes various events, including sport tournaments, community dinners and the Deacon Park Walk.
