Virden High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. Its curriculum includes English, math, science, social studies and physical education. The school offers instruction in economics, psychology, art, music and foreign languages. It is governed by Virden Community Unit School District 4. Virden High School offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including Bible, art, drama and dance clubs. The school provides membership opportunities to students in the National Honor Society and the Family, Careers & Community Leaders of America.
