The dog run has been remodeled! It is SO much nicer now, with some astro-turf and trees... my dog loved his time there today!

Fun playground for kids

Entrance. This park is the former site of the Chicago Coliseum/The Syndrome.

The merry-go-round. Those are olives, right? :-)

Climbing structure, two slides, hills, and a passing L-train on the green or orange line. The orange posts are the saucer swing.

Located in the Near South Community, formerly known as park number 507, the name was changed in 1999 to Coliseum. It has one playground, a passive recreation area, and one dog friendly area.

Nice scenic area for dogs and kids to play. Good amount of trees plus shade. Plenty of places to sit with trash cans to keep the park clean.
