Eastern Illini Electric Cooperative is a nonprofit rural electric organization that is headquartered in Paxton, Ill. The organization provides a range of electric services to more than 12,000 members located in Champaign, Douglas, Edgar, Ford, Iroquois, Livingston, McLean, Moultrie, Piatt and Vermilion counties in Illinois. Its services include online bills payments, rate options, help desk services, home energy evaluations, payment options, outage information, and commercial and industrial information services. Additionally, it provides an online resource that features energy-use calculators, an application section and home energy saver methods. Its energy-use calculators help consumers compare different heating systems and water heating costs.
