The racial makeup of the village was 78.29% White, 8.73% African American, 0.34% Native American, 0.23% Asian, 0.06% Pacific Islander, 9.77% from other races, and 2.58% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 22.98% of the population, including 21.2% of Mexican descent.
