Originally from El Paso, Ill., Tyler Evans, MD, FACS, is a Presidential Scholar and Summa Cum Laude graduate from Illinois State University where he majored in biochemistry and molecular biology. Dr. Evans earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois Chicago.
