The Middletown Early Childhood Center, also known as MECC, is an educational facility that provides a range of learning opportunities for more than 220 students in pre-kindergarten and kindergarten. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, math, physical education, science and social studies. The school also maintains a parent-teacher organization and organizes field trips. The Middletown Early Childhood Center offers speech, occupational, physical and language therapies. In addition, it maintains a library that includes over 8,000 reading materials, as well as provides transportation and nursing solutions. The school offers several volunteer opportunities. The Middletown Early Childhood Center is a part of the Mahomet-Seymour Community School District.
