Physical Plant , a part of Wheaton College, is responsible for meeting the transportation, carpentry and custodial needs of Wheaton College. Established in 1860 as a coeducational institution, Wheaton College is a private, residential and interdenominational Christian liberal arts college. The college enrolls more than 2,800 students of various countries and church denominations. It employs over 275 part- and full-time staff members. Wheaton College s bachelor s degree courses in arts and sciences includes subjects, such as ancient languages, anthropology, art, biology, chemistry, history, math, English, French, German, physics and political science. The college also offers bachelor s degree courses in music and music education. Wheaton College is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music, National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education and Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
