Bona Vista Programs

Founded in 1958, Bona Vista Industries provides manufacturing assistance. Its services include small parts assembly, sorting, inspection, washing, drying, weigh counting, product packaging, shrink wrapping and sealing. It also offers services that include machining, drilling, labeling, cutting, reworking, sanding, warehousing and book distribution for authors. Additionally, the Bona Vista Industries provide developmental toys and adaptive products, such as attribute beads, laces, stringing shapes, blocks, dowel rods, button and snap strips, pegs, form-boards, pattern and coloring cards. It also offers first aid and spill kits that include adhesive tapes, tweezers, scissors, bandages, antibiotic ointments and bacterial towelettes. Located in Peru, Ind., the industries also operates a volunteer program and has 9001:2000 certifications.

The Emmaus Mission Center is a nonprofit, multidenominational, social service agency that provides support for the marginalized families and individuals of Cass County, Ind. It maintains a homeless shelter that offers food and clothing assistance for homeless individuals and families. The agency conducts a day program that includes assistance in the areas of employment, education, permanent housing and life skills development services. The Emmaus Mission Center operates a food pantry that distributes government commodities and donated food through volunteers. It maintains the Morningstar Girls Home, which provides affordable and accessible long-term residential care and independent living skills, including education, homemaking, parenting, career preparation, money management and personal health for nearly 10 girls. The Emmaus Mission Center is located in Logansport, Ind.
