Thanks the 2nd time, o habr used them snd i think they are amazing and very prompt and knowledgeable. They actually took their time to find the problem and listened to my concerns. Thanks so much!
The worker was here at the earliest time, he immediately found the problem, explained it to me, gave me choices on what could be done. Was patient with me as I made a call . Decision made to go on with bathroom faucet replacement. He needed to go get the part. He was gone no more than 20 min. The work was all done in not more than an hour. I am very pleased and happy I called Roto-Rooter.
Eddie Garcia came today and boy was I ever glad it was him what a fine job he did unclogging my sewer drain professional experienced and obviously knows his stuff 2nd time ive used roto ill definitely ask for Mr Grcia if I need him in the future tech #1175 Thanks Eddie
Jeff the service technician was great to quickly solve my problem with a downspout that was overfilling. He found the cause of the blockage and after snaking the drain, everything was working 100%. Thanks again!
I gave Roto - Rooter all 5 stars only for their service and being on time as promised. However I should of known something was not right when she said they had someone in my area and THEIR WOULD NOT BE A TRIP CHARGE AND WE ALL KNOW THAT TODAY THAT'S NOT TRUE ANYMORE. I hsd s toilet that was backed up and all the plunging I could do would not work. I knew it had to be snaked. When the serviceman said it would be $ 235.00 to snake my toilet I thought I had just been told I was broke. Total time it took to unclog my toilet was about 10 minutes so 60 minutes in an hour that comes to about $ 1395.00 per hour of work. I wanted my toilet unclogged so I agreed minus a $ 40.00 coupon which brought the bill down to $ 195.00 for 10 minutes of work just to turn a crank. I should of said thanks but no thanks and called every plummer and company and got an estimate before a serviceman came to my home. Again I should have know something wasn't right with NO SERVICE CHARGE AND A $ 40.00 COUPON. i FELT LIKE I WAS GETTING ROBBED.
We had a surprise flood in the basement of our new-to-us home from the floor drain, so last night I booked an appointment on their website for this afternoon to inspect our basement drain (just a drain no sump pump). He called ahead for permission and arrived early, observed the drain as I flushed the toilets and how it backed up, located the outside line, and immediately identified that the outdated-but-not-original cap on the line meant there had been work done on it before. (Significant to me because the sellers hadn't mentioned prior flooding). He proceeded to roto-root out several large and stringy clumps of net-like roots from the line until it was finally clear. To my relief, we didn't need to bother the basement drain at all! All together very thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. The whole thing took maybe 40 minutes. There's a 6 month warranty on the work they did today so that is an added bonus of peace of mind, and they took my coupon from their website. 10/10 would recommend.
It was absolutely the best decision calling them, I called DrainMan and They were very rude and disrespectful but when I called this company they were so kind and helpful. They arrived to my home very quickly and fixed my problem, They were also very kind then and as a bonus they gave me a guarantee. I do appreciate their work and recommend it.
called on Saturday had drain in kitchen sink stopped up they came about 6 pm it took about one hour. my daughter was having a mary k party. Andrew was very professional did what he need to cleaned up and was quite as possible we thank hi very much.
Horrible experience, after coming 4 times to fix a part on a water heater that wasn't the problem and flooding my house to coming back 5 days later and trying to charge me 1200 for a new tank
As a well known fact Roto-Rooter has been around for a while. We phoned in the late evening, thinking they were closed. This was not the case a tech came out and assessed our water system and had it diagnosed in no time! He gave us OUTSTANDING service! We are still talking about him today. Big shutout to Tech Ryan!! Thank you for your time and patience! It proves experience is still Job 1!Blessings!Leonard & Jacqueline
We needed our sump pump replaced late on a Friday night. Although the response time was a little longer than quoted, once the tech (Ben A) arrived he was very professional and educational throughout the service.
Scott Hensler was the person that came to my house. He was very professional and personable, and kept me informed as to what he was doing. As an 82 year old lady I very much appreciated that. Please be sure to pass this along to his supervisor as he deserves the praise.
I called Friday morning around 8:00 with a bath tub issue. I was told that someone would be calling me back to let me know when someone would be out, so I called in to work and used a vacation day so I could be here when they came. At around 10:00 dispatch called and said someone would be here in the early afternoon. By a little after 3:00 I still had not received a call so I called back and the person from dispatch told me (in a very rude tone) that my window was 1-5. I told him that I wasn't told that, I was told early afternoon. So I told him I would continue to wait. By a little after 5:00 I still had not received a call so I called back. I was then told that they were a little backed up, but that someone would be to my house in the next couple of hours. At this time I asked to speak with a manger and was told he wasn't available, but they took my name and number and said he would call in the next 24 hours. By 7:30 I still had not heard anything so I called back. I was then told it would be 9:30-10:00 before anyone would be here. At that point I told them I wanted to reschedule for Saturday morning. They gave me a window of 8-12 and I said that I had already wasted a vacation day and had to cancel my plans to wait for them, so I wanted a smaller window. I was then told 8-10 and that they would give a 15% discount. The next morning I was up at 7:00. By a little after 10:00 I hadn't heard anything. So when I called I was told that they called me at 8:45. I can tell you that I was up and my phone was completely charged and turned on it it never rang or registered an incoming call. I was then told that they would have someone here in under 40 minutes. I finally did have a tech come and he spent around 10 minutes in my home. He said that the tub was working fine and he didn't know what caused my original problem so he left. I really don't understand why it took more than 24 hours for me to get someone here that only spent 10 minutes in my home. Also, it's been more than 24 hours and I still have not heard from a supervisor. I have been a loyal customer for between 10-15 years and for me to be treated this way and to miss a day of work and have to cancel plans is completely unacceptable. I will not be using this company again.
Placed a request on a Sunday evening and was called by 8:00 Monday morning for a slow drain. Jeff was here and finished by 10:00 AM. Cleaned everything up, gave some advise on another potential plumbing problem. I have used them before and I always get great quick service and prices upfront.
We made an appointment online on Sunday, and the technician arrived at 8:15 on Monday morning. Thanks goodness since we had plumbing issues throughout most of our house since Saturday afternoon. The technician Chawn Vunnga was efficient and professional. He gave advice about what we could do to avoid the problem.
The service technician was great. Timely and professional. However, the cost structure is outrageous. AND, I thought based on their online advertising that they were local but instead the plumber was based 40 miles away which might explain their pricing. It is crazy. Buyer beware.
Pls Read: I have never written a negative review of a company in my life until now! Pls do NOT ever use Roto Rooter again!!! Not only did they break a pipe trying to unclog my sink, but they also caused massive damage to my main floor kitchen (rendering it useless) as well as my basement (they cut a hole in it)! Worse than that the GM, Hal Glenn, committed to fixing it until he realized his team caused $45k worth of damage (hardwoods buckled, granite broken, ceiling in basement cut open w/ massive water damage, carpets ruined)... Seven days ago, Hal said, "if we broke the pipe, I will do the right thing and fix the damage." All six of his employees that worked on our house agreed it was 100% Roto Rooters fault. Once he knew the price tag he dodged us for a week, not returning phone calls and finally today Hal said, "that would be out of my pocket... I cannot get you new countertops."Bottom Line: Do NOT ever use Roto-Rooter!
I took a shower today in our home we've lived in for 18 hours. I went downstairs afterward to check on my cat and realized there was water EVERYWHERE! The drain backed up in the basement shower and out from the toilet drain! I called and they had someone to my house in about an hour. The guy was here almost three hours working tirelessly to get the root out of my lines that he found. He tried from outside and then down in the main access downstairs. Thank God he got it! He could've given up and called for digging, but he didn't and that's a huge relief. He was very courteous. Tomorrow another guy will be coming to assess what needs replaced and said he'll call in my claim to my insurance for me. Also, someone is going to come send a camera down all of my lines for free to make sure he got everything. Thank you thank you thank you. I was one stressed new home owner there for a bit.
I had someone at my house within an hour of calling for an appointment, and he was friendly and knowledgeable. He took time to explain the process to me (he was fixing the water heater), and I was very pleased with the overall experience!
