Alpha Baking Company began operations in 1979. With a fleet of over 300 delivery trucks, it distributes fresh bread in the upper Midwest and frozen bread across the rest of the United States. The firm sells products in national restaurant chains, quick service restaurants, schools, institutions, major league sports franchises, warehouse club stores, national grocery chains as well as independent grocery stores. Its products include rye, sourdough, Italian, French, pan and wide pan breads, Kaiser rolls, French rolls, baguettes as well as organic and frozen par-baked bread products. Alpha Baking Company's four bakeries and 16 production lines serves the retail, food service, institutional, restaurant and frozen products markets.
