Columbia City High School is a public school offering classes from grades nine through 12. It comprises various departments, including agriculture, art, English, math, science, social studies and modern world languages. Its arts department includes theater production, exploratory art, communications, concert band and choir and wind ensemble. It has a health and physical education department that offers various sports and athletic activities, such as hockey, football, soccer, softball, tennis and lacrosse. Its students produce daily video announcements and a comprehensive Web site for elementary schools of the district. The school has a live radio station playing alternative music and providing sportscasts of various events. The school is located in Columbia City, Ind., and is operated by the Whitley County Consolidated Schools.
