Established in 1962, Meredith Nicholson School provides education to more than 500 students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, science, physical education and social studies. In addition to a computer lab, the school has a library and media center that offers a range of resources and information to satisfy the educational needs and interests of students. Meredith Nicholson School provides special education and Title I programs. It offers transportation, meal and health screening services. The school provides various extracurricular activities, such as field trips and book fairs. The school is governed by Indianapolis Public Schools.
