In operation for over 30 years, Madison Area Educational Special Services Unit is a school system that operates more than 25 elementary and secondary schools. The system provides counseling and educational services to gifted and talented students. It offers speech, language, hearing, vision, physical and occupational therapies to students with learning disabilities. It provides an early childhood education program.
