Scott M Frede, M.D.

Scott M. Frede, M.D., is an internal medicine/pediatrics physician with Norton Community Medical Associates and sleep medicine specialist with Norton Pulmonary Specialists and Norton Sleep Center. Dr. Frede earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Ohio. He completed a combined internal medicine/pediatrics residency at University Hospital in Cincinnati and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, and specialty training in sleep medicine through the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine/pediatrics and sleep medicine. Dr. Frede is committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care for patients of all ages. With advanced training in providing care for adults and children, he offers a unique, integrated perspective when diagnosing and managing complex medical issues, and also sleep-related conditions, such as obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome and narcolepsy. He has been recognized for his compassionate approach, dedication to evidence-based practice, and focus on improving patients’ long-term health through better sleep, preventive care and patient education. Dr. Frede is passionate about helping individuals understand the critical link between sleep and overall wellness. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and their two dogs and is an avid Cincinnati Reds and Bengals fan.
