Simple Sounds is located in the small town of Shipshewana, IN in the Davis Mercantile. We were established in 1989 and the current owners, Gary & Linda Zehr, purchased the business in 2001. Since then, Gary & Linda have continued to expand the offerings in the store and online, leading us to carry a large variety of folk instruments, print music, CDs, hardware for instruments, wind chimes and a large array of gifts for musicians of all levels. We have anywhere from 5 to 8 employees in our store and all are trained and knowledgeable about the products in our store as well as music in general. Great customer service is our philosophy!

Lots of cool music gifts and music-y things in here! Great customer service, very friendly! Always a nice place to shop, even for us non-musical types. My singing is well, caterwauling.

lots of bad reviews from a shoplifter who was angry that they got caught, but it a very fun store and I would recommend stopping by if you are near.
