The Clerk of the Vigo Circuit Court, also referred to as the County Clerk, develops, maintains and stores court documentation for circuit, superior and juvenile Courts. The clerk s responsibilities include collection and disbursement of court costs, fines, judgments, restitutions and various other fees. The office also collects and disburses child support payments, issues marriage licenses and conducts elections. The Clerk of the Vigo Circuit Court is operated by Vigo County, Indiana, which also operates air pollution control, area planning, fire, health, highway, information technology and emergency management departments.
