Established in 1962, Western Dubuque High School is a four-year public high school located in Epworth, Iowa. The school offers educational classes to more than 750 students in grades nine through 12. It provides special programs to students, such as gifted and talented program, special needs, mentoring program and kaleidoscope alternative. The school has a more than 4,500-square-foot media center that offers a collection of over 12,000 volumes and provides subscriptions to periodicals and Internet access. It offers a wide range of academic courses, such as English, math, social studies, business, computer technology, science, language arts, health and physical education. The school is affiliated with the Western Dubuque County Community School District.
