Mid-American Field at Jack Trice Stadium

Jack Trice Stadium, a part of the Iowa State Center, is a 50,000-plus-seat facility that was established in 1973. Located on the Iowa State University campus, the stadium is the site of Iowa State University football games. Jack Trice Stadium is named in honor of Jack Trice, the first African-American athlete from Iowa. The stadium offers an unobstructed view of the playing field and parking facilities for more than 3,500 vehicles. It includes facilities for the media, such as press boxes and sky box suites. The stadium also maintains a modern club section that offers theater-style seats that can accommodate more than 450 people. It also houses strength and athletic training facilities. Jack Trice Stadium, the home of Iowa State s football program includes football offices, team meeting rooms and locker rooms, as well as an auditorium and natural grass field. The stadium is located in Ames, Iowa.
