About Eric Cochran Before he began his career with American Income Life Insurance Company, Eric Cochran was an Operations Manager. He joined AIL in 2007 when told about the career path, which eventually led him to his current position as State General Agent in Iowa. His other reasons for joining American Income Life were the financial rewards and the resources provided for Representatives. Eric feels the same resources are still available with the Company for new Representatives and says "AIL has the systems and support to allow anyone to meet their career goals. If you have the passion and desire to succeed, then nothing will stop you from achieving your goals." Eric noticed American Income Life was a different kind of Company as soon as he started his career. "I have always been in a position where I've had the ability to help others. But sometimes our personal lives can take a U-turn. I'd always have to choose either my job, or not providing for my family. But at AIL, I didn't have to choose." The Company, and the people working for the Company, can definitely make a difference in a person's success. In Eric's case, it was a positive difference. Eric finds the most rewarding thing about joining AIL is the ability to change lives. Helping others doesn't just involve people in the Company; Eric also helps policyholders. "I've seen how our products have changed our policyholders' lives. Not only the products, but the support they get when they need us the most." For Eric Cochran, helping others also translates to his personal life. He works with the youth in his church as well as with a charitable organization called Dream Factory , which grants wishes for children with illnesses.
