Immaculate Conception - St. Joseph School was established in 1969 by the merger of St. Joseph in Raymond, Iowa and Immaculate Conception in Gilbertville, Iowa. The school is a Catholic elementary learning center that serves students in kindergarten through grade eight. It conducts classes in various core subjects, such as English, math, science, social studies, art, music and physical education. Immaculate Conception - St. Joseph School also hosts a variety of extracurricular activities, such as Christmas celebrations, concerts, choir shows, and instrumental music and band performances. In addition, it provides after-school care programs and promotes participation in several fundraising projects.
