Bethany Lutheran Church, based in Overland Park, Kan., offers a range of programs for men, women, youth, children and seniors. The children s ministry provides nursery care during Sunday worship, weekday school activities, Sunday school and children in worship programs. Bethany offers service ministries including the Stephen ministry that helps people in crisis, the altar guild that provides care for communion ware, clergy vestments and altar area and the Lutheran women s missionary league that unites women from seven circles for mission projects, service activities, prayer and Bible study. The sports ministry team provides a range of activities including open gym, volleyball, basketball, softball, golf and pedal pushers ride.
