Tipton is a city in Mitchell County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 210.
Tipton is located at 39°20′22″N 98°28′13″W / 39.33944°N 98.47028°W / 39.33944; -98.47028 (39.339380, -98.470155). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.2 square miles (0.6 km²), all of it land.
