Westwood is a city in Johnson County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 1,506. It is a suburb of Kansas City.
Westwood is located at 39°2′18″N 94°36′56″W / 39.03833°N 94.61556°W / 39.03833; -94.61556 (39.038305, -94.615583). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.4 square miles (1.0 km²), all of it land.

The racial makeup of the city was 95.83% White, 0.33% African American, 0.26% Native American, 1.70% Asian, 0.91% from other races, and 0.98% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.09% of the population.
