Everburn Manufacturing, located in Lexington, Ky., designs and manufactures ceramic fiber logs for gas appliances. Its logs are manufactured from a special amalgam of high-temperature ceramic fibers and binders and exhibits a realistic glow. Everburn logs are designed to resist thermal shock and heat and can withstand temperatures up to 2200 fahrenheit. In 1994, Everburn was the first company to offer an oak split log design. A year later it developed a charred design. Its Premium 96 collection features a variety of unusual bark textures to meet individual customer demands.
