Liberty is a city in and the county seat of Casey County, Kentucky, United States. It was established in 1806 by several Revolutionary War veterans and named for one of the values of their new country. Its population was 1,850 at the 2000 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.8 square miles (4.7 km2), all of it land.
